Michele Momboisse began practicing thai yoga bodywork in 2002 after completing a teacher training program in ashtanga yoga in 1997. Her love and passion for yoga led her to want to heal people using the meditative focus of her yoga practice, which she felt deepened her connection with others through touch. She has a degree in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania, class of 1997, with a focus on French and art history. Ironically, though these subjects seem very different than yoga and healing, she says they are similar in that art and communication can also be of a spiritual nature.
Her intention is to cultivate this awareness of spirituality, art, and healing as well as yoga and meditation in her thai yoga bodywork practice. Sessions are 60 or 90 min, and are deeply therapeutic, energizing and restoring peace and equilibrium to the body, mind, and spirit.
